NESsT and aproposed to measure the performance level of social enterprises in Romania. For this, NESsT carried out a detailed analysis of the situations finances of a representative sample of social enterprise. The hypothesis that was the basis this research was that there are a number of performing social enterprises, with vision and strategy for significant growth that they need of investment for development. Research objective a was the estimate of the number of these enterprises inRomania, the analysis of their evolution in the last 3 years and a the factors that led to their current performance
